HMICFRS Reports

24 September 2021

Police performance is monitored by the PCC and also by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Service (HMICFRS) who report on policing activity with a view to encouraging improvement in reducing crime.

Visit the HMICFRS website to read more about how the police can reduce crime.

For the latest HMICFRS reports relating to Derbyshire, please see below. Please note HMICFRS reports only date back to November 2012 from the inception of Police and Crime Commissioners.

For information, HMICFRS was formally known as Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC). In summer 2017, HMIC took on inspections of England’s fire & rescue services, assessing and reporting on their efficiency, effectiveness and leadership. To reflect this new role, their name was changed to HMICFRS.

There are currently no Derbyshire specific HMICFRS reports to publish at present.
