HMICFRS
His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Service (HMICFRS) are responsible for assessing police forces and police activity across a wide range of activities. They are independent of both the Government and the police. They inspect, question and interpret the evidence they receive, providing reports on their findings.
HMICFRS Inspections which have been conducted within Derbyshire are publicly available. The Police and Crime Commissioner responds to these inspections in the form of a letter. A copy of the responding letters is also publicly available.
