 David PeetChief Executive - David Peet (Salary £79,698)                                                      

David has overall responsibility for the work of the Executive Team.  This includes governance, scrutiny and community engagement.  He also has a monitoring role with regard to standards and promoting effective partnership working with the Chief Constable and other bodies.

Andrew DaleChief Finance Officer - Andrew Dale  

(Salary £78,042)

Andrew is the Police and Crime Commissioner's statutory finance officer with overall responsibility for the administration of the Commissioner's financial affairs.

His work includes advising the Commissioner on budget matters, spending and commissioning and risk management.

Personal Assistants


Executive Assistant to the Police and Crime Commissioner - Janice Kennedy

The Executive Assistant provides support to the Commissioner managing his diary committments, and his conference and travel arrangements. They are the first point of contact for Commissioner telephone enquiries and provides secretarial, typing and administrative support.

Janice works full time.


Executive Assistant to the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Chief Executive and Chief Finance Officer - Dawn Brown

Dawn provides support to the Deputy Commissioner, the Chief Executive and the Chief Finance Officer. This includes managing their diary committments, and their conference and travel arrangements. She is the first point of contact for their telephone enquiries and provides secretarial, typing and administrative support to them.

Dawn works full time.


Compliance Team


Head of Compliance - Marie Romano

Takes on and leads compliance related matters, including the delivery of the Commissioner’s statutory responsibilities for complaints, discipline and professional standards and ensuring compliance with legislation on information management. The Head of Compliance also oversees the case management of public contact and correspondence coming into the Commissioner’s office.

Marie works full time.


Administrative and Casework Assistant - Wendy Randall

Wendy supports the work of the Commissioner by provision of administrative support to the Commissioner and the Head of Compliance within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.

She is also responsible for the administration of the Commissioner's casework system and assisting in the organisation of Police Appeals Tribunals.

Wendy works full time.


Apprentice - Joshua Mycroft

The Apprentice carries out general office and administrative duties whilst studying to complete an NVQ in Business Administration. 

Joshua works full time 


Operations Team


Head of Operations - Joseph Rhodes-Orwin

As the Head of Operations, Joseph provides policy support to the Police and Crime Commissioner by carrying out research and advising on, and developing, policies to support the delivery of the Commissioner's Police and Crime Plan. Joseph also oversees the consultation and engagement strategy which is in place to meet the Commissioner's statutory responsibility.

Joseph works full time.


Engagement Co-ordinator - Gill Quayle

To take the lead role in ensuring the delivery of the Commissioner’s statutory responsibilities for consultation & engagement.

Gill works full time.


Community Engagement Officer - Paula Painter

Paula supports the Commissioner in carrying out his statutory duties in the area of Citizen Focus and partnership engagement, and also assists on the preparation and delivery of the Commissioner's consultation and engagement programme .

Paula works full time.


Digital Engagement Officer - Tim Parkin

Tim merges new digital communication media and traditional communication methods to better engage with the varied communities of Derbyshire to allow a two way dialogue between the PCC and the people. 

Tim works full time. 


Meetings and Records Officer - Liz Kelly

Liz administrates the Strategic Priorities Assurance Board (formally Strategic Governance Board) and the Joint, Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee, ensuring their reports are distributed as required, attending the meetings, taking the minutes and recording any significant decisions. Liz uploads these onto the website for public information.

Liz is also the Scheme Manager for the Independent Custody Visiting and Police Dog Welfare Schemes, and as the contact for Freedom of Information requests made to the OPCC.

Liz works 26 hours per week, worked flexibly over the week to meet business demands. 


Research Placement - Emily Wakeland

The Research Placement provides a research service to the Police and Crime Commissioner, looking into current issues in Policing and Criminal Justice and providing the Commissioner with written and oral briefings on the findings of the research.

Emily works full time.


 


Policy & Partnerships Officer - Jennifer Connolly-Thompson

Considering the implications of policy decisions taken at National level, the Policy and Partnerships Officer provides policy research, advice and guidance to the Commissioner and takes a lead on developing the understanding of the local partnership landscape.  Jennifer brings these together to support the delivery of the Commissioner’s elected mandate and statutory responsibilities.

Jennifer works full time.


Projects Officer - Tracey Barks

Tracey co-ordinates and drives discrete projects that result from the PCCs rolling Summit Programme and any other agreed projects. This will include working with the PCC/DPCC to defined the outcomes required, identifying key stakeholders, developing action plans for delivering against agreed outcomes and regular reporting to the PCC on progress.

Tracey works full time between Tuesday and Friday.


Performance Officer

The Performance Officer assists the Commissioner in his role to progress the 15 strategic risks and threats identified by the Constabulary and partners at the annual Risk, Harm and Threat seminar, and monitors the Constabulary's performance in other key areas.

The Performance Officer works 15 hours per week, worked flexibly over the week to meet business demands.


Commissioning Team


Head of Commissioning - Dawn Robinson

The Head of Commissioning will ensure that the strategic, operational and day-to-day delivery of the development, implementation and evaluation of the PCC’s commissioning responsibilities are delivered.

Dawn works full time.


Commissioning and Grants Officer - Sarah Greensmith

The Commissioning and Grants Officer supports the Commissioner in carrying out their statutory duties by providing support in the administration of all aspects of management of the Commissioner’s grants that contribute to achieving his Police and Crime Plan. Additionally, Sarah assists in the commissioning of support services to victims' of crime who reside in Derbyshire.

Sarah works 4 days per week, normal working days Monday - Thursday.


Finance and Commissioning Support Officer - Jack Foster

Jack provides administrative support to the Finance and Commissioning team.

Jack works full time.
