Current Challenges in Derby City

Currently, an estimated 390 individuals in our street community face severe deprivation daily. These individuals are highly visible, and their plight affects not only their lives but also the vibrancy and safety of our city for residents, businesses, and visitors.
While their hardship is distressing to witness, it’s even more distressing to know that many in this community endure life-threatening mental health, substance misuse, and physical health challenges without consistent access to care or shelter.
