It’s important to me as Derbyshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner that the priorities I set for policing, community safety and victims services reflect the issues that matter most to you, wherever you live in the City or the County.
I understand that people want to see the police service that they pay for. They want to see the problems that affect them, in their neighbourhood, being addressed effectively.
Clearly, different areas require a different approach to policing, and priorities can change. That’s why, throughout the year, I will run this survey asking for your views on crime and community safety. I will work with the Chief Constable to ensure that resources are balanced efficiently with your concerns and investment is used wisely to improve front line policing.
This is an opportunity for me to hear directly from the public about the policing issues that are of concern.
Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions.

Policing During the Pandemic
For people who live in Derbyshire during the lockdown, the Police and Crime Commissioner hosted an anonymous survey to capture views about policing in communities during the pandemic.
The survey was a quick snapshot of opinion and closed on 7th August 2020. View the results here
