We cannot endorse or support any one candidate over another. The Home Office has an official site which features every candidate's details.
Please go to https://www.choosemypcc.org.uk/area/derbyshire for information on the Derbyshire candidates.
If you are thinking of standing as a candidate you can arrange a meting with the Chief Executive of the office who will talk you through the process and answer any questions you may have. Please contact the office on 0300 122 6000 or email email@example.com to arrange a meeting.
Once candidates have officially registered they will be invited to an information session where they can learn more about the role of the PCC (including their statutory responsibilities), the work of the OPCC, Derbyshire Constabulary, our collaborative work with other forces in the East Midlands and our work with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service. Further information to follow in due course.
The election itself is overseen by the Police Area Returning Officer (PARO), for this election that will be Emily Feenan at Derby City Council. For information about the election itself, including how to stand, please contact the election team at Derby City Council on firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.derby.gov.uk/elections for more information.
