Important Notice: In light of COVID-19, all victims services are currently working to maintain a safe and effective service for those that require it. Please bear with us in this difficult time. At present Derbyshire Victims Services and our specialist services are all operating their support helplines and providing their usual phone based counselling services. However all direct contact and face to face support in people’s homes has been suspended to protect you and our vital services. Most drop-in centres are closed but advice lines and websites are still operating. Please note, services are still accepting self-referrals.
As you can imagine this situation is changing. Should we need to close any service we will attempt to redirect support from another agency.
If you are in any danger, please do not hesitate to contact the police immediately HERE
All services can be accessed from the CORE Webste using the link below.
A dedicated website has been funded and launched by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire to provide a ‘one stop shop’ of help and support for victims of crime and antisocial behaviour.
The CORE website has been designed as an online tool of information and help connecting vulnerable people to a wealth of local and national organisations that can provide assistance. It also provides visitors with the opportunity to report a crime to Derbyshire Constabulary, Crimestoppers and Fearless. As Police and Crime Commissioner, I’m determined to make it easier for victims of crime in Derbyshire to access the help they need quickly and easily. We’ve worked hard to deliver useful information and service details, both local and national, with help from victim services, the police, local authorities, the fire and rescue services, health services, voluntary sector organisations and specialist support groups. We understand that different people will need different help depending on their circumstances and so the CORE site will act as a fantastic tool to search services for a wide variety of crime types and other social issues.
The website went live on 15th December 2015. You can visit the CORE website HERE.
