HMIC
Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) are responsible for assessing police forces and police activity across a wide range of activities. They are independent of both the Government and the police. They inspect, question and interpret the evidence they recieve, providing reports on their findings.
HMIC Inspections which have been conducted by within Derbyshire are publicly available. The Police and Crime Commissioner responds to these inspections in the form of a letter. A copy of the responding letters is also publicly available.
