Virtual police meeting to examine ongoing response to Covid-19

Police watchdogs will be updated on the force’s response to coronavirus and recent changes in guidelines at a virtual meeting.

Members of Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner Hardyal Dhindsa’s Strategic Priorities Board (SPA) will attend a virtual meeting on Monday, October 5 to review performance in a range of key areas.

The meeting, which will convene at 2pm, will receive an updated report on efforts to limit the spread of Covid-19 and the police’s responsibilities in enforcing new health guidance.

Also on the agenda will be an update on the force-wide review being undertaken to examine BAME disproportionality and a presentation on the PCC’s annual report for 2019-20 before the panel considers the results of this year’s Listening to You engagement with Derbyshire’s communities.

Members of the public are invited to ask questions to the PCC or Chief Constable ahead of the meeting.

These should be pre-submitted in writing by email by Wednesday, 23 September.
