Tweet your policing questions to Derbyshire PCC

Tweet your policing questions to Derbyshire Commissioner’s public scrutiny meeting

…or ask them face to face

Now’s the time to get ready with your policing questions about what’s happening in Derbyshire. Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Charles’ Strategic Governance Board meeting on Monday (14 December) will open with a 30 minute Q & A session which he and SGB members will answer.

“Whether you tweet your Qs, email them or attend in person, it’s a good opportunity to keep up to date “in the moment’ about policing in your community and across the county,” the Commissioner says.

The monthly meeting will hear budget reports and, from Chief Constable Mick Creedon, police performance reports that range from alcohol related harm to information on possession and trafficking of drugs.

The public’s questions will be heard from 2pm at Police Headquarters in Butterley Hall, Ripley, but if the session is shorter than 30 minutes the business part of the meeting will begin early.

Questions can be put either in person or via Twitter. Followers of @DerbysPCC and @DerbysPolice can tweet their questions either before, or during, the first half hour of the meeting by using #askSGB in the text of the question.  Questions can also be submitted in advance via email to the Chief Executive (David.Peet.16406@Derbyshire.PNN.Police.UK). Any question that cannot be answered by the Commissioner or SGB members at the time will receive a response shortly afterwards.

Please note that questions cannot be taken in this forum regarding specific cases or investigations.
