Derbyshire tweeters are reminded that they can tweet questions to the Police and Crime Commissioner or the Chief Constable.
Questions are answered at the start of the Commissioner’s Strategic Governance Board meeting and can be sent via Twitter @DerbysPCC or @DerbysPolice or using #askSGB in the question. The 30-minute question and answer session also extends to those who attend the meeting in person.
The next meeting will take place on Monday, 23 March, at Police HQ, in Ripley at 2.00pm.
Members of the public are also invited to submit questions that can be asked on their behalf at the meeting. These should be submitted to the Chief Executive (David.Peet.16406@Derbyshire.PNN.Police.UK) by 5pm on the Friday preceding an SGB meeting. Although specific cases are not able to be discussed in the meeting, they are followed up by senior representatives from the Force.
Agenda and papers for the meeting are now available at http://www.derbyshire-pcc.gov.uk/News-and-Events-Meetings/Meeting-Information/Strategic-Governance-Board-2015.aspx.
Reports to be discussed by the Commissioner and Chief Officers will include the Commissioner’s Competed Grant Funds 2015/16, police performance, and an overview of the financial position of the Force as well as a project being funded by monies received from the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
Anyone wishing to attend the meeting in person is very welcome to do so.
