Derbyshire’s Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Hardyal Dhindsa, will join two police licensing officers in Buxton to gather information ‘first-hand’ on the town’s night time economy and late night revellers. The evening’s events will also be filmed to join a compilation of footage to be shown at an Alcohol Summit being organised by the Deputy Commissioner in June.
Mr Dhindsa will join Sgt Mark Wright and PC Sandra Barlow on his walkabout of the town, starting at 10.30pm.
The Deputy Commissioner will be gathering information for the Derbyshire summit when there will be discussions with key partners on the effects of alcohol within the community.
