The CSF funding has now been mainstreamed into general Policing grant. Service needs are on-going and the Commissioner has carried out an assessment of delivery achievements made against his CSF grant funding in 2013/14.
The Commissioner determined that the method for allocating CSF for 2014/16 would be through a transparent application process, giving partners an opportunity to engage in a conversation with the Commissioner on the outcomes that his funding can deliver. A series of grants to existing (mainly local authority) partners to support current programmes for community safety, crime reduction and antisocial behaviour have been awarded. Grant agreements specify the outcomes agreed with each provider and partners will be required to provide satisfactory information on outcomes in support of the Police and Crime Plan objectives.
A summary table of the grants awarded is available.
