Wildlife crime has long been a concern of mine, and I know that is also true of many residents and visitors who want to keep our moors, hills and valleys as a haven for protected species at risk of persecution.

Description
Police forces have faced well-documented financial challenges forcing them to make difficult, often unpopular, decisions. Given the volume of cuts to officer strength and resources in recent years, it is only natural that the public should feel sceptical of any change and quite rightly ask questions about how our decisions will impact on them.

Description
The continuing barrage of Government cuts in police budgets has an inevitable effect on the way that Derbyshire Constabulary can operate. We are nonetheless doing all we can to ensure that the changes we have to make do not compromise the safety of residents and businesses in our city and county.

Description
In an era of continuing and ever more challenging budget cuts, Derbyshire Constabulary has had to introduce a number of changes to the way they work and this includes the closure of some of our police buildings.
